‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Howard and Bernadette fight

Fans of “The Big Bang Theory,” get ready to celebrate a little bit of romance … but you may have to get through some petty fighting from Howard and Bernadette first.

Based on the latest sneak peek for Thursday night’s episode of the hit CBS comedy below, it looks as though a Happy Valentine’s Day for all of our characters is not necessarily guaranteed, as a double date involving the two aforementioned characters (along with Leonard and Penny) does not end up exactly going according to plan. Bernadette is upset with Howard over never doing the laundry when she asks him to, and they precede to have a pretty funny fight about it … that is, if you find listening to Howard be completely immature to be funny. (Yes, we’re as surprised as anyone that this guy found a way to be married to someone.)

What makes this episode somewhat unique is that despite only being half an hour along, all four of our leading men are going to have separate stories that come together at various points. Leonard and Penny will be thinking about their future long-term, Sheldon makes a big move when it comes to him and Amy, and Raj is getting set to meet his first significant love interest on the show ever in Lucy (Kate Micucci).

If there is one bit of advice we can give to everyone recording the show (which is acceptable if you are helping “Community” stay alive) rather than watching it live, it’s this:don’t go online for a while afterwards and run the risk (like Leonard did reading “Harry Potter” so late after the fact) of getting spoiled. There are some big moments here that could change the future of the show.
