‘Glee’ season 4: See Naya Rivera’s extended M&Ms Super Bowl ad (video)
This past episode of “Glee” season 4 ended up showing us more than just the revelation that Santana Lopez was leaving both the University of Louisville as well as McKinley High and taking off for New York City; it also presented us with a first look at the extended version of the M&Ms commercial featuring the actress that first aired during Super Bowl XLVII last week.
Basically, the premise of the commercial is still the same: the famous red M&M sings the classic Meat Loaf hit “I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” as Naya’s character basically torments him in a million different ways … including licking him and trying to put him into an oven. It’s just as funny as it was watching the first time; and while there are some commercials out there that not everyone may be interested in being a part of, it’s always an honor to sign up for something that airs during the most-watched event of the entire year. (Just look at how GoDaddy has changed the life of Jesse Heiman.)
Naya’s been rather busy during some of her weeks off from the show, and we really are seeing some of the results. She took part in a music video with 2Cellos (who she worked with during the “Glee” Michael Jackson tribute), and she has also been working hard on a debut album that we will hopefully hear a little bit more about in the months ahead.
What do you think about the extended version of this ad? Be sure to share even more of your thoughts with a comment below, and you can head on over to the link here if you want to hear what Lea Michele is saying about a major performance coming up on the show.
