‘Bones’ season 8 spoilers: Booth is in for a surprise…

After a thoroughly entertaining episode of “Bones” season 8 Monday night, and one that featured a personal favorite in former “Chuck” star Vik Sahay, just where is the show going to go next? Based on the new promo for next week’s new episode, it’s to a pretty surprising place.

There’s really a touch of irony to the promo for “The Doll in the Derby” airing next week, mostly because it came on at about the exact same time that Sean Lowe was taking the women on “The Bachelorette” through a roller-derby date. The story for this episode really looks to be rather simple: a popular roller girl dies in a mysterious accident, and in order to really get to the bottom of what happened, we are going to be seeing someone go undercover. Specifically, the person that we are talking about her is Angela … and this is certainly going to be an opportunity for her to show off her athleticism.

More surprisingly, this episode is also going to feature an opportunity to show off her kissing skills with Booth of all people. What in the world was going on with the kiss? If we had to guess, it was because he turned up at an inopportune time, and in order to protect her cover Angela had to think quick and planted a wet one on his lips. We’re sure that Brennan will understand on some level … even if it’s probably not a particularly nice thing to think about.
