‘American Horror Story’ season 3 spoilers: Ryan Murphy gives a few more details
For anyone who loves “American Horror Story,” you better be prepared for a long wait. After what was a pretty spectacular way to close off the “Asylum” season of the show on Wednesday, the man partly responsible for making this show into a hit is moving onward to his next project.
Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Ryan Murphy announced that he was getting set to have some of his first meetings on the show’s third season on Monday, and that the idea behind the show is already set in stone. As for who actually knows what this idea is, there are only a few people in between the creative team and some of the actors, who wanted to know the story before they would agree to sign on for more.
Some of the current theories out there include talk of witches, a carnival, or even Washington DC, and for the time being Murphy is not commenting on any of them. However, he did tell the website the there will be three separate cities that are used as locations for the new season, which suggests to us that this one will be much more open and less confined to either an insane asylum or a house (which is certainly a good thing for those looking for something different here). He is planning on mixing some regulars from both of the show’s first two seasons, and at the moment Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, and Sarah Paulson are all confirmed to be back for more. (Can we start a campaign for Lily Rabe now?)
