‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley trapped (photo)
In what is going to be a great example of “The Breakfast Club” gone horribly wrong, the upcoming January 17 return of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 is going to contain something that should be rather memorable to anyone who loves both scary situations as well as 1980s cult classics: a lengthy series of scenes involving characters trapped inside of school. However, this is not going to be due to detention; instead, we are going to have one very angry Original Vampire in Rebekah, and she is going to be on the loose.
The photo attached to this article is coming in to us courtesy of Zap2It, and it shows Caroline (Candice Accola), Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Elena (Nina Dobrev) completely and totally trapped inside of a library. Unfortunately for them, it also does not look like any of them have any sort of plan to escape.
The first question we have is a pretty simple one: how in the world are a trio of powerful vampires trapped in a library? Are there “Twilight” fans outside trying to “sparkle” them up? (Kidding!) We’re guessing that Rebekah is probably leveraging something against the three, and is demanding a little bit of information before she does anything. After all, she’s not exactly thrilled about having to sit inside a coffin as of late, and she likely also has not enjoyed playing second fiddle for much of the past year and alienating herself from Matt. Basically, she’s got a lot of pent-up anxiety. We just hope she fully embraces the evil now rather than dangling around in the center, mostly because we’d rather have a confident female villain to fill the role of Katherine (even if we don’t think this is the direction they are ultimately going to go here).
Are you excited for this episode? Of course, stay tuned, as we are going to have more scoop on this episode as soon as it becomes available. In case you want to read some more about the cast’s return to work on set, you can do so here.
