‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, Demi Lovato
Ready for some more “X Factor” USA notes? Let’s hope so, since we are starting things off with some cool news from Tate Stevens before progressing into some other interesting stories that are still currently unfolding around the internet.
So when it comes to this reigning champion, you will be rather pleased to know that the man is already in the process of picking out some songs for his debut album, which is a pretty big sign in itself that the show’s producers and Sony Nashville are more than a little bit interested in having this guy launch a career sooner rather than later. Here is what Tate himself had to say on the subject in a post on Twitter:
“Had a great time going through songs for my album yesterday! Can’t wait! Hope everyone is as excited as I am about it!!!”
We would be stunned if Tate’s album is not out in stores at some point before 2013 is over.
A Carly Rose honor – We always like to wait a few weeks following the finale to crown someone the YouTube champ of the season, mostly because things can change and the winner often picks up more views after the confetti rains down on them. However, this was not true when figuring out just who is the top contestants of the season this time when it comes to views … and it’s not even close.
With over 22 million views to just her audition alone, Carly Rose Sonenclar has won the overall YouTube title for this year by a mile, and Tate Stevens ironically is not even in the top four here when it comes to average views per video (as Fifth Harmony, Emblem3, Diamond White, and even CeCe Frey) all have more. This also serves as another sign that many Carly Rose’s fans are either younger and more web-savvy, but possible also international and unable to vote as much as Tate fans have been over the past several months.
Demi takes a break – Demi is giving her Twitter account a break this week rather than your heart (rim shot). The sad thing for her is that whenever she posts a tweet, every gossip site everywhere decides to speculate about what it is about. On this occasion, she posted something about relationships only for sites everyone to raise eyebrows about who it could be.
With that in mind, Demi announced early Friday that she’s taking a little bit of time off from the internet, which can easily get a little overwhelming at times. Don’t worry: we’ll surely see her back online soon!

Hmmm. What happened to Carly Rose? She didn’t sound as good when she sang with LeAnn Rimes. Cece Frey may well be singing at the upcoming Grammys. Cece Frey and Melanie Amaro were the only reality TV singing sensations nominated as contestants to be voted for a performance on the Grammys. Interestingly, Cece is ranked #2 most popular act of the 1474 nominees. No worries for Carly though. Just wait until she turns 17 or 18, then imagine the depth of that voice. Wow.

Ok…I’m a HUGE Carly Rose fan! …but really…can’t we just move on. Tate won…Carly didn’t. Inn the end they both are going to get what they wanted. No amount of Tate/Carly bashing is going to change anything. Lets all celebrate the future for both of these great performers for what they bring to their respective fans!

Why does no one mention the site votefortheworst.com, which heavily supported Tate as their joke pick for the win to sabotage the competition, and TONS of people vote for their suggestions as a statement… that along with the blindly loyal country fans, the sob story sympathizers and the split young pop vote was what might have given Tate the edge in the USA, if it wasn’t rigged. Now, if this would’ve been world wide, she would’ve ranked 1st every week and won by a mile times a million!

LUcky Tate got his break all the more power to him. He played his cards perfectly and won on a combination of factors not neccessarily being a great talent but more a nice guy and relatable to many in middle America. Carly is more the phenom with “off the charts talent” that leave many studdened and others in disbelief. What is done is done with X Factor. She is will be a mega star guaranteed and Simon knows this. If you noticed he had her sit next to him at the press conference and chatted with her through out the proceedings. The show was a win win for him. First he got a country guy which expands his country following, he formed a successfull girls group to fill a space in the market and also got another very talented boys band like One Direction. Carly will be prove to a lengendary star like Maiah, Striesand, Celine, etc. Simon hit a home run. The show though may take a hit as many will not believe that the best singer will win.

Carly Rose Sonenclar is a beautiful and unbelievably talented girl, she didnt need to win x-factor, she’s a winner no matter what. even if she had finished in 5th place on x-factor she would still have record companies going crazy trying to sign her. i fell in love with her stellar voice along with millions of people worldwide, everytime i heard her sing it brought tears to my eyes. i cant wait to buy her first album and go to her concerts! love u carly! ur the best!

37 is old!!? What have you been smoking? I’m 54 and I don’t consider myself old and I can still keep up with you young punks when it comes to most things. American country music is popular in the UK, Australia, Ireland and Japan as well as in the US. If you pay attention you’ll notice that of all the music competition contestants over the years, the ones who do country have long careers while the others have fizzled out. With the exception of Kelly Clarkson. She is still going but is crossing over into country. Tate has been performing since he was a kid and all over the world. I’ve seen him perform in Kansas and Missouri and he has a huge following and is extremely talented. Carly is only 13 and has her whole life ahead of her. Tate has paid his dues and I’m proud he finally has gotten his big break. I’ve met him personally and you couldn’t ask for a nicer guy who is also humble and appreciates his fans. Country music is big and it’s here to stay. Pop, rap, heavy metal, and all that other “music” (noise) sucks and is here today and gone tomorrow. Even old country songs from 50 years ago still live on today.

If Carly Rose has such a huge fan base, even in Russia as someone blogged, why didn’t all of her “fans” vote?? Tate has a hugely loyal fan base – it’s all about the votes folks. I don’t think anyone felt sorry for Tate because his story was “sad” – unless, of course, they are jealous of his talent or love for his family. Carly Rose was a great performer on stage. When offstage, she had pretty much no personality which only can come with maturity and age. They are looking for the whole package and Tate has it. People didn’t vote for Tate to win out of “pity” – they voted for him because he was the clear winner!

“Being in the music business for over 25 years myself and having coached Mariah Carey, and several others including oddly enough, LeAnn Rimes 17 years ago I can validate that the note that we witnessed from 2:28 to 2:38 of Carly Rose Sonenclar’s version of the classic “Hallelujah” is almost beyond human. I have never coached nor have I ever heard from any of my colleagues in the music industry about anyone having shown this ability at 13 years old. Very very few can do it in their 30’s. Amazing.”

Carly’s talent has been recognised by millions worldwide for example she has a fan site in Russian by fans in Russia and is probably the world’s most famous singer that hasn’t released a record and when she does release her music. It’s expected to be a bestseller worldwide

I will be the first to admit I was outraged with XFactor this year. In my opinion so many contestants were cut even when they outshined others, i.e. Cece Frey making it week after week when others clearly sang better than her. It was then I realized the votes at home were more “Prom Queen and King” based than on the total package of a performer. Nevertheless I agree, Tate sounds like any country singer, but he won because he was entertaining (not to mention the sob story) where Carly Rose was not with his dancing awfully, yet having fun and getting his fans excited in a different way. Everyone probably only saw Carly as another annoying disney singer, when she could easily be another Celine Dion or Mariah Carey. The iasue lies in the fact Tate and Carly are from two different genres of music & that is why Carly never did anything upbeat. She is used to stage not concert performing. As a mentor Britney should’ve helped her branch into a little more of the upbeat and dance music. Regardless of the votes, they both won b/c now Carly is known & can break into mainstream and Tate has a deal. We’ll let the future show,us who will or won’t go far in the business. I wish them both, as well as every other contestant, success and happiness.

if carly is so amazing why was she on xfactor? shes been on broadway countless times why hasnt anyone signed her? as for her hits on youtube those can be bought its all over the news how people pay advertisement companies to hit the videos so people will be noticed. i wouldnt purchase carlys cd nor want to see her in concert. 5th harmony i would. i do think carly would be great on disney where she can still have some type of childhood.

Carly will go so far based on her international fanbase. YouTube does count as markabiltiy and proves that people like her music. Clearly Tate is not a Gretchen singer as his songs do not make people go on YouTube and relisten to his songs. Hence he will never have a big break out and end up like last years winner. The only reason he won was because people felt sorry for him. I find comments saying Tate deserves to win because this is his last chance, NOT because he has a great voice

I am a You Tube watcher from the Uk and from where I stand Carly Rose will appeal millions of international viewers as proved from the enormous figures already and Tate Stevens will have a career possibly successfully limited to America as country music has no appeal outside of America (with only exception of Dolly Parton). Carly Rose was outstanding and her talent will appeal all around the world as she could have a massive career. I’m looking out to buy her first album.

For all you disappointed Carly fans who think the voting was fixed, it wasn’t. Lots of people like me voted for Tate over and over again. Not just for his great voice but he had the X Factor in spades, and Carly was just a good vocalist. The X factor includes not only singing ability, but an entertaining personality and charisma. Carly just came up short on those other qualities. Plus the vote for those who wanted a pretty girl to win got split between Carly and 5th Harmony. That’s your answer.

No Im NOT a hater but i agree with John. carly is way more talented and Tate sounds like any other country singer. every song she sang she made it her own and killed it.. when she sang i fell in love with her voice and how she could be strong and also soft. that is real talent…. The show was rigged for sure

Sony Nashville is going to be extremely disappointed when Tate Stevens bombs
out when his album is released. The real winner of the contest was Carly Rose.
She had over 22 million views on You Tube and she rightfully won the competition.
Britney was Carly’s mentor and it’s for sure, Britney knows music.

Very odd she didn’t win. It could be the vote was split between her and girl group. It could also be that having a you g winner creates problems for money having to be put away til she reaches 18 or 21 / she can’t even go to certain venues because not old enough and he might be easier to manage then the person who most of the audience were screaming the name as she was singing. Good luck Tate , some talent but you sound like any one of a hundred country singers

Every thinking person understands that it was the 3-way finale format that sunk Carly Rose. The young pop vote was split between Carly and 5th Harmony. Had it been a head to head finale, Carly would have won hands down. Plus, the way Tate kept whining about “I don’t have Mom & Dad to go home to, I am Mom & Dad” just tugged at the heart strings of all the losers sitting in their recliners who also blame others for their lack of success. But, not to worry. Carly is only 13 and has a brilliant career ahead of her. I doubt Tate’s CD will get as many listens as Carly’s YouTubes already have. Tate will end up like Melanie Amoro Who?

tate is a nice guy, and his story is sad, america felt bad for him since hes old and has kids and wasnt sure if he had a job and blah blah blah, thats why he won the x-factor. however anyone and everyone who knows anything about music or talent will be able to tell right away that carly is light years ahead of poor tate in the talent and skill department. i mean its hard for anyone to deny that this girl, carly rose sonenclar, is absolutely incredible. i cant wait to buy all her albums and go to all her concerts! I LOVE YOU CARLY!!

Hateswillbehaters YOU SOUND LIKE A HATER…..just follow the careers, her’s has been more successful already on and off Broadway. So please, with a vote total of 35 million easy on the fan hate; why not ask for a breakdown of the numbers like they do in an election. Funny how they stopped giving the placings when they got to the finals…smells like a rat to me…..!!!

while carlys fans were watching carly on youtube and posting hate posts Tates fans were voting. Tate Nation stood behind Tate by voting. carly will continue to do well on broadway. i do feel bad for carly IF her fans had of voted instead of bashing others she might could have stood a chance. Keep bashing and make her fanbase look even worse. TATENATION PROUD!!!! fyi i dont live even in same state as tate and every wed i had a tate watch and vote party for tate of at least 50 but as much as 150 voting for Tate. thats how you show support.
