‘The Carrie Diaries’ preview: 3 sneak peeks to get excited about

The series premiere of the highly anticipated “Carrie Diaries” is a little over a week away and in an attempt to get viewers excited about the show, the CW has released three new sneak peeks from the pilot.

The first sneak peek gives us a look into Carrie’s relationship with her younger (rebellious) sister Dorritt.  Carrie is looking for her mom’s purse (her mother recently passed away) and while searching through her sister’s room she find it.  Unfortunately her sister accidentally ruined the purse when a bottle of nail polish busted all over it, but when Carrie starts to get angry with Dorritt, she realizes that her sister is still hurting from losing their mother.

The second sneak peek follows Carrie into the famous Century 21 department store in New York City where she runs into Larissa, a style editor for Interview magazine.  She loves Carrie’s purse and wants to shoot it for the magazine.

In the last sneak peek we watch as Carrie comes back to her junior year in high school after the summer vacation (and the passing of her mother) and runs right into what will likely be her high school Mr. Big named Sebastian Kydd.  He walks up to her and tells her that he’s sorry to hear about her mom and the chemistry between them is obvious.
