‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 preview: Will Andrea be a pawn in the Governor’s game?
There are a lot of new episodes of shows returning to television starting this week, but for all of you “Walking Dead” fans out there you will still have a bit of a wait until it comes back to AMC. That doesn’t mean that the network isn’t out there promoting the series like crazy, so we have a new promo for you to sink your teeth into.
While many promos from shows don’t give viewers much of an idea of what’s to come, the new “Walking Dead” preview really lets us see just how bad things are going to be in this war of Rick vs the Governor. The main thing we took away from the promo is that Andrea is going to play a major part in the second half of the season. She has spent most of her time with Rick and company and although she hasn’t been with them for eight or nine months while she was with Michonne and then in Woodbury, she may still feel loyalty to them – however now that she is in a romantic relationship with the Governor it might be difficult for her to see anything outside of her rose colored glasses. There is one clip in the promo that we find the most intriguing which is Andrea with her hands up walking towards the prison. Is she really trying to go there and see Rick or is this just a plot with the Governor to get Rick to lower the gates so he can storm the prison and take what he wants?
Another interesting thing that we saw is that Carl tells his father to “stop being the leader”, and now that we have seen what a great leader Carl can be, is it possible that he will (and wants to) step up into that position in the group? We have also seen a small lead up to Carl and Beth maybe having a young romance, but in the promo we see Beth giving Rick a kiss – is this the start of something?
Check out the new promo for “The Walking Dead” season 3 below and let us know what you think is going to happen in the second half of the season.
