‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Feast your eyes on Sam and Dean’s next missions
Do you want to ring in the new year with some “Supernatural” news? Well, what we have for you now is something that will certainly carry over well into 2013: a number of the show’s episode titles moving into what will be the home stretch of the season come April.
Some of these titles have already been reported here, but we’ve included them in this article still as a way to prevent some confusion and you having to bounce around from one article to the next in order to find them all. These were also reported by KSiteTV, and it begins with the show’s winter premiere airing on January 16.
Episode 8.10 – “Torn and Frayed” (which you can read more about here)
Episode 8.11 – “LARP and the Real Girl” (which features the return of Felicia Day)
Episode 8.12 – “As Time Goes By”
Episode 8.13 – “Everybody Hates Hitler” (which we are assuming is the episode about Nazi necromancers)
Episode 8.14 – “Trial and Error”
Episode 8.15 – “Man’s Best Friend with Benefits” (which is about the bizarre story about a man whose lover is the human form of his dog)
Episode 8.16 – “Remember the Titans”
Episode 8.17 – “Goodbye Stranger” (a title that caused us recently to speculate as to what it could mean)
As evident above, we don’t have intel on all of the episodes moving forward; and of the three that we know nothing about at the moment, ironically two of them (in “As Time Goes By” and “Trial and Error”) could not be any more vague if they tried. If you want to read more about some of the episodes we have a little bit of knowledge about, it’s pretty simple: just click on one of the links above.
At the moment, which of these titles seems the most promising to you? We want to hear some of your thoughts below!

Deborah:
“The only thing that concerns me now is the future of Castiel. So far, I’ve read he’s not returning until at least after episode fifteen and no word when, after fifteen, he’ll even return.”
Er, what? He’s returning in the very first episode back from break, episode 10.
“As for the upcoming new episodes, with the exception of “Torn and Frayed,” I see almost NOTHING in the episode titles which would seem to hint at what was suppose to be the main theme of this season: the search for the Word of God, angels, and demons.”
Don’t get me wrong, I want more of that arc than we’ve received so far but what you just described is literally no different than previous seasons. You would never know “It’s A Terrible Life” would be more than a standalone and tie into the angel storyline based on the name alone. Hell, two funny episodes in a row, “Changing Channels” and “The Real Ghostbusters,” both ended with major revelations to the mythology/arc.
“I’m tired of all the filler.”
Like I said, I want more of the arc this year too but there’s no “filler”. That’s what Supernatural is. This isn’t Lost or 24. It’s always going to be more standalone episodes than mythology episodes.

This is one of the best years yet for SPN! I only wish Bobby would return. I also like the iidea of Castiel as being the “third wheel.” Get the suits to release some money ad let the boys boogie with some quality actors. Also, let them get along for a change. I am sick of the angst between them. Let them boogie and be funny like real brothers.

Hello, I just wanted to make sure, you knew that episode 812 “as time goes by” is the episode in which a winchester relative travels through time, right?

The only thing that concerns me now is the future of Castiel. So far, I’ve read he’s not returning until at least after episode fifteen and no word when, after fifteen, he’ll even return. If they write him out again or try to replace him with Benny, I’m SO finished with this show.
As for the upcoming new episodes, with the exception of “Torn and Frayed,” I see almost NOTHING in the episode titles which would seem to hint at what was suppose to be the main theme of this season: the search for the Word of God, angels, and demons. I’m tired of all the filler.
