‘Suits’ season 2 spoilers: Hints from the winter premiere

We just had an opportunity to catch the January 17 return of “Suits” season 2 to USA, and while we’re not going to give anything major away when it comes to Harvey, Mike, and the rest of the Pearson Hardman gang, we thought it would be best to give you at least a taste of just what is coming up for those of you anxious to start off the new year with some scoop.

The first thing you should know? That this episode feels very much like a classic hour of “Suits,” in between the witty dialogue, the drama surrounding Mike and Rachel, and a case that seems to make the immoral Mike somehow into someone who is a patron saint of goodness compared to Harvey. The death of Mike’s grandma is brought up early in the episode, but as we watch the case at the center of the episode develop, it quickly become apparent that she is not the only deceased family member of his that plays a role in the story.

For the time being, here are a few other tiny scooplets to look forward to:

-Aarti Mann, best known as Priya on “The Big Bang Theory,” stops by for an appearance as quite possibly the most frightening attorney ever … especially to Mike.

-Does anyone want to watch Louis get freaky? You may have a chance here.

-While Harvey does not exact act like the nicest lawyer ever this week (which is more or less par for the course with him), he does make a few moves romantically that come across as rather sweet.

-Mike faces two major choices within the episode: one related to his case, and one related to an unseemly practice at home.
