‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 3 spoilers: More on Aria, Ezra’s future
When “Pretty Little Liars” season 3 picks up on ABC Family on January 8, we are going to be seeing a number of our couples in a pretty strange place. Paige and Emily will be trying to have a normal relationship for a change, Hanna and Caleb will be feeling the aftereffects of the incident from the midseason finale, and save for Spencer having a boyfriend who is secretly a part of the “A Team,” we think that Aria and Ezra are probably the pair at the moment that have the most to overcome. While Ian Harding’s character does not knot it yet, Lucy Hale’s leading lady has uncovered that his ex actually gave birth to a love child that Ezra does not know exists, and this story is going to play a major role in what unfolds for the rest of the season.
So just how much are things going to change for the two? Gregg Sulkin is going to be back for more of an arc moving forward as Ezra’s brother Wesley, and he tells BuddyTV a bit about this story and the emotions that may be running through Ezra’s head when he inevitably learns the truth about the child:
“I can’t say too much but all I can say is that it’s pretty obvious that when you have a child your life completely changes. That includes everything that you’ve done and everyone that you’ve been with in that present moment in your life, that all goes out the window. Once you have a child, your life changes.”
We do not know the extent in which Wesley and Aria are going to have a friendship moving forward after some awkward scenes together in the first half of the season, but Sulkin suggests in the interview that most of his scenes moving forward are indeed with Hale.
