‘True Blood’ season 6: Joe Manganiello has some fun for 36th birthday

Joe Manganiello is another year older, and the star of “True Blood” is looking to have a little bit of fun with it courtesy of celebrating with some of the people who are really more than a little bit responsible for getting the man in the oh-so lucky position that he is in today: the loyal fans, including many of them who were there when he was still trying to make a serious name for himself in show business.

So what did Joe have to say online? Really, it was a combination of a couple of funny things, beginning with a message on Twitter to a guy considered by just about everyone to be the greatest hero in the history of comic books in Stan Lee:

“Happy 90th Birthday @TheRealStanLee !!! I couldn’t share a birthday with a better guy! #FlashThompsonTurns36 #CapricornsRule“

In following this up, Lee replied with a rather funny message of his own that shows he may be the coolest 90-year old man on social media:

“Didja know it’s my good friend @joemanganiello ‘s birthday as well? Must be quite the honor for him to share the #Generalissimo ‘s birthday!”

In closing, Manganiello, who is going to have a major role once again as Alcide in season 6 of the HBO drama (which starts filming in just a matter of days now), left a message that references his status as a heartthrob to man women out there in America:

“Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! Its been an amazing year, thank you for all of the love and support! #SexiestFansAlive“
