NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 spoilers: Joel McHale introduces holiday gift (video)

Do you want a new video from “Community” season 4 to ring in the holidays? Luckily, Joel McHale is serving as your Santa Claus on this special occasion!

Many of the show’s cast members tweeted out the brand-new video below on Friday, which features a “never-before seen” clip featuring Jeff, Britta, and many of the other characters receiving the gift of kittens from none other than Dean Pelton. When you remember that this is the dean that we are talking about here, there is of course some sort of ulterior motive. So what is it here? It seems to be that he gives both himself and Jeff a kitten named Jeffrey, so that they now each have something in common with each other for the rest of their lives. If you love the Dean, and love the Dean’s creepy obsession with McHale’s character even more, then you are sure to love what is being shared here.

As great as this video was, there is still one obvious omission to the people sitting around: no Pierce Hawthorne. To us, this suggests that this was either filmed following Chevy Chase’s decision to leave the show strictly for the purpose of having something to share online, or that this is a scene from an episode that he is strictly not around for. Either way, we’ll try not to freak out over him too much and focus on the actors who are present (including Chang, who has been rather quiet so far this year).
