‘Gossip Girl’ series finale spoilers: An unexpected pairing (video)

Do you want to see something rather surprising coming out of the “Gossip Girl” series finale? Well, let’s just say that it is possible that Georgina is not going to have an expected conclusion to her story based on the latest sneak peek from the episode below.

Now, we already know that this longtime schemer in the Upper East Side is a married woman, but who’s to say that she could not end up with someone else in the flashforward that happens at the end of the episode? There is a reason why the writers are showing us a clip of her having an “innocent” conversation with Jack, and it makes you wonder just what could be coming up down the road for them later on. The two actually do have quite a bit in common: they are both smart, are both schemers, and have both grown accustomed to getting exactly what they want over the years.

Granted, there is still enough ambiguity in this scene for this not to happen, mostly because we have no idea just where the road will ultimately take these characters moving forward. Without seeing any context for a particular story at the moment, it is rather hard to predict anything … but that does not make us any less anxious to speculate away on some of our favorite characters.
