‘Dexter’ season 7 finale spoilers: Why is Hannah so shocked?
Slowly and surely, some more details are coming into focus for the upcoming “Dexter” season 7 finale, including a few promotional photos here and there; and while there are plenty of them that are fairly routine and revolve around everything we have seen on the show’s previews thus far, the one to the left is a little bit more interesting.
Why exactly is Hannah McKay so shocked? The only thing we can think of first and foremost is that she has realized just how bad this situation is for her, and that Dexter is not changing his mind. On the other hand, you could also read it as her maybe realizing that there is another loophole that could set her free, as maybe Dexter retraced his steps and realizing that Deb or Arlene is actually the one behind the water bottle being spiked with anxiety medication. Regardless of the reason, there is clearly something going on here that Yvonne Strahovski’s character was not expecting by any stretch of the imagination.
As for how this will impact the show moving forward, that is a good question and it will be based largely on just how Hannah feels about Dexter now that she is behind bars. Is she going to come for blood? If this is so, we may see a woman who is far more terrible than Dexter could ever hope to be, especially when she has so much revenge on her mind. She tried so hard to think that she had found someone who truly understood her, but it turns out this is not the case.
Then again, it’s also possible that Hannah, if she does ever get out of prison, could just try to start again with Dexter if he helps to clear her name. Remember, this is a woman that slept with him seconds after he nearly put a knife into her heart.

I think its possible that someone she thought was dead truely isn’t. I also feel that Debra drugged herself to frame Hannah. Debra knew this would set Dexter off and help her get Hannah. I keep thinking of what the guy at the wrecking yard said. He told Dexter “sorry for your loss” of which Dexter replied “oh no my sister is fine” our something close to that. Anyway, the car was beyond totaled. Debra should have been in much worse condition. I know sometimes miracles can happen but come on this is tv. They always set things in motion for a reason. That guy did not say that for no reason! It was set up on purpose!! And, I still think Hannah and Dexter belong together. I hope it all works out cause I want to keep watching Dexter! I am not ready for it to end are you?
