‘Gossip Girl’ series finale spoilers: Death, wedding crashers, and more (video)

Following Monday night’s all-new episode of “Gossip Girl,” The CW finally lifted the veil a little bit on what is the most-anticipated episode of the long-running drama series in years. After waiting for over half a decade, we’re going to finally learn about the identity of Gossip Girl! Not only that, we are going to be seeing Chuck and Blair (try to) get married!

As the first promo for the episode below shows, there are going to be some problems that come in the way of “Chair’s” happily ever after … at least in terms of them being able to tie the knot in the way in which they want. Chuck obviously knows that he is going to be an enormous suspect in the now-confirmed death of Chuck Bass, so with that in mind he is doing everything that he can in order to avoid the police. However, they are eventually going to catch him, and it is going to be right in the middle of his wedding vows (otherwise known as the worst time ever).

Elsewhere, it looks as though Serena has not moved away to Los Angeles yet, and Dan is still going to do just about everything that he can to convince her that he is a changed man (despite very recently saying some absolutely horrible things about her in a tell-all book). There will also be surprised guests aplenty during this episode, including the returns of Taylor Momsen and Connor Paolo, and also an appearance for the first time from none other than Kristen Bell, who is likely just going to have a tiny cameo over the course of the hour. (The finale will be preceded by a retrospective.)
