‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, epiosde 7 preview: Ellen Pompeo vs. a handful

Thursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 episode is going to feature a rather unusual patient the likes of which Meredith Grey has never really faced off with before. What makes this one so special? Let’s just say that they have a tendency to get a little bit handsy with just about everything that they encounter.

In the video below, you can see Meredith’s attempts to treat a man who is seemingly in the hospital after his attempt to spontaneously grope a woman turned violent; and for some reason, his response to all of this is to spontaneously grope Meredith, as well. What’s going on here? There is some sort of medical problem going on here that is forcing this guy to have an urge to spontaneously touch everything, even if we do not know at present just what this is.

As awkward as it may seem, this storyline may actually be this episode’s source of levity, especially when you consider that the rest of the story for the week is going to revolve in part around Cristina and Owen defining their relationship while everyone tries to go about their daily business despite a pending lawsuit against the hospital by some of the victims of the plane crash that led to the loss of Mark and Lexie’s lives.
