‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Is actual footage coming soon?
If you were around this weekend, then you are probably well aware already of the “Game of Thrones” season 3 teaser that arrived prior to the start of “Boardwalk Empire” on HBO. However, you were probably also disappointed with the fact that save for a voice from a mysterious new character, there was not really anything else in this trailer at all worth pointing out.
So could this end up changing here very soon? Based on what we are hearing now, the answer to this very question could end up being “likely.” According to show site Winter Is Coming, a special behind-the-scenes look at season 3 is currently scheduled to be available for HBO on-demand viewers on Monday, December 3. When you look at what the network’s traditional practice is for these clips, they debut on TV the day before. This means that we could be looking at another “Game of Thrones” clip, though this time during the “Boardwalk Empire” season 3 finale.
So what could this clip contain? Don’t expect it to be a full-blown trailer by any means, but it could at least be successful in presenting to us a few more details about the settings, the new characters, and the rigors of shooting ten episodes of television in four separate countries over a period of several months. There is no other show that is quite so ambitious, and puts so much pressure on itself to get better with each and every year. Some of the major new characters arriving this time will be Cirian Hinds, the Reeds, and the wife of Stannis Baratheon, who spent much of season 2 getting caught up with a fierce sorceress named Melisandre.
