‘Gossip Girl’ series finale spoilers: Is Kristen Bell stopping by?

We know that some famous faces from “Gossip Girl” past in Taylor Momsen and Connor Paolo are going to be making appearances during the show’s series finale set to air on December 17; so could we be seeing the show’s narrator in physical form, as well? It sure seems like a definite possibility.

According to TVLine, Kristen Bell, whose voice has at least been a part of this series since the very beginning, is going to be making a cameo appearance of some sort during the show’s final episode. As to what this cameo appearance will be, that is the show’s primary mystery at the moment. Could Bell really be G.G. all of this time? It’s a possibility, albeit a pretty lame one in that nobody wants to see someone who we don’t know in the role that we have speculated about since the beginning of the series.

Therefore, a more realistic guess here may be that Bell will just make some sort of tiny guest-starring appearance as an Easter egg for some of her fans during the final episode … and hopefully will not have any spoken dialogue since the last thing you want to do is create the wrong impression. It was a fun idea to get her involved here, and if nothing else it shows the sort of love and care that is being put into this hour, which will hopefully be some sort of fitting tribute to all of the stories that have played out here over the past six seasons.
