‘Gossip Girl’ season 6 spoilers: Ladies unite!

It may seem like a strange proposition, and there is a very good reason for that considering what we have seen on “Gossip Girl” season 6 thus far. However, that does not mean that what is coming up is a mirage by any means: we are actually going to see not only Serena and Blair team up again at least one more time before the end of the series on December 17, but they are going to have an unlikely ally in tow: Sage.

According to a new report from E! News, these two three musketeers, if you will, are also going to be joined by a fourth woman in Georgina who is equally surprising, especially considering the help that she was giving Dan when it comes to ruining their lives with a tell-all book. Is the common enemy here therefore Mr. Humphrey? It’s possibly, but it’s really hard to see Sage wanting to go after someone who has no bearing in her life whatsoever. (After all, the fashion show earlier this season proved how selfish she can be.)

So what are we going to be seeing in the immediate future? Basically, Serena and Dan are going to try and grow closer again, whereas Blair and Chuck’s relationship will hit a few snags as they try to work through all of their differences. As for Serena’s new relationship with Sage’s father Steven, it’s still not entirely clear just how long that will really last given that there are so many complications around it already (including the fact that she and Nate have a history).
