‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Check out the progress report!
Want to see some crazy facts about “Game of Thrones” season 3? Then look no further, as Cat Taylor courtesy of her Making of Game of Thrones blog has given us a rather comprehensive list of just everything that it has taken in order for her and the rest of the production staff to make this season.
Just some of the numbers on this list (which you can see below) are rather staggering, from the 703 shoot days to the amount of spears and arrows made for battle scenes. There are also some pretty funny inclusions in here, including a shoutout to showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss along with a claim about children named after a certain Stark child.
Even though Taylor posted this image recently, it is actually from early October, when production was really still getting underway in Morocco. The filming crew there is now getting close to wrapping up, and following this the final crew up north will really get underway working in Iceland. Sadly, we will likely not as much scoop from here as we have from the Morocco location … mostly because it is not in the middle of a crowded street with all sorts of locals nearby to capture what is happening. Only the brave are going to trek out to the remote portions of this country. This is the last stop for the show, as they have already wrapped filming both in Northern Ireland and the city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
“Game of Thrones” will return to HBO on March 31, though we will of course be around with plenty more scoop until that time. Do you want to see who is playing Steelshanks on this coming season?
