What’s coming up on Ray Donovan season 7 episode 6? This is a story entitled “Inside Guy,” and that alone suggests there will be trouble. What kind of trouble? Well, that’s up for a reasonable amount of debate. The problem for Ray himself is that within this upcoming episode, it feels like there’s one way to describe what he’s going through: He’s overwhelmed. He’s getting just about everyone coming to him with problems, and the question that you have to wonder after that is whether or not he’s going to be able to handle all of that.

Should Ray be able to handle it? Sure, since he is in theory a fixer and this is the sort of stuff that fixers commonly do. Yet, we’ve got a feeling that it’s not going to be that easy when the dust settles. We’re thinking that there will be some untimely twists, especially since Ray is also still trying to deal with his Mickey problem. Sure, you could argue that he’s been trying to deal with his Mickey problem since the start of the series, but this feels a little bit different now. If nothing else, we have to think that the stakes are a little more through the roof.
