NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 12 spoilers: First look at ‘Groundwork’

NCIS: Los Angeles

Following the big episode “Answers” on CBS this past Sunday, NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 12 is airing on January 5. We know that the title is “Groundwork,” and there’s going going to be a returning guest star in Dina Meyer. You first saw her during the episode “Heist” that aired close to the midway point in season 10. She’s present now with a new mission, one that could requite the help of our oh-so famous team.

For a few more details, be sure to check out the official NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 12 synopsis right now:

“Groundwork” – CIA Officer Veronica Stephens (Dina Meyer) asks the NCIS team for help when an agricultural engineer Hetty asked her to bring to the United States disappears, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, Jan. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Will this episode carry through some of the storylines teased within “Answers”? We would hope so, but for the time being, not much is official. What we know right now is that this is an installment that should allow us to see a great mission, but we’d also like to learn if Callen has had any success tracking down Anna. Meanwhile, is it possible that Deeks and Kensi have received some good news of their own? Because of the way that “Answers” ended, all of the characters on the show have, in their own way, reset their stories. There are some new objectives that can play out — while they may not happen immediately, we at least have some great stuff to look forward to. That was an element that was occasionally missing-in-action as we went through the most recent season.

In general, we’d expect for there to be at least a couple of episodes airing in the month of January — following that, though, there could be a hiatus due to all of the award shows/NFL games that are on the schedule. It’s going to be a few months full of hiatuses, but we’ll be back getting more consistent programming before too long.
