Stumptown episode 9 (winter finale) spoilers: ‘Dex Education’

Dex goes undercover as a high school substitute teacher after an old classmate of hers enlists her help to find out who planted drugs on her daughter. Meanwhile, Dex and Liz’s relationship gets too close for comfort…

Does that closing line for Dex and Liz suggest that there will be a big cliffhanger at the end? We have a feeling that there will be, largely because we’re talking about a show in its first year … and also one that needs to retain as many viewers as possible. The best way in order to do this is to make sure that you draw them into the story. A cliffhanger helps to ensure that people get addicted and stay that way.

Also, there are a lot of other reasons to be addicted to Stumptown right now. Just think in terms of the performances, the mixture of drama, and even the super-cool setting. It’s a show that also still has so much more to offer.
