‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: ‘The Guild’ star Felicia Day returning!
“Supernatural” certainly has a devoted fan following, so why not bring someone back with an audience all of her own? With this in mind, we are thrilled to report that our favorite geekette, Felicia Day, is going to be making a return appearance soon on the hit CW series, where she famously played in a past episode a tech wizard by the name of Charlie Bradbury.
This news was confirmed by the superstar from “The Guild,” who posted the following message on Twitter as a way to help celebrate the Halloween holiday:
“What better place to be on Halloween than on the set of #Supernatural? Charlie’s back! :)”
Day has been busy in the past year, having done appearances on the web series “Husbands” in addition to an arc on Syfy’s “Eureka.” Still, her work on the “World of Warcraft”-inspired web show is still her main calling card, and “The Guild” is currently in its sixth season. Just in case you haven’t seen it before, be sure to check out the latest episode below and prepare to laugh.
While the found-footage episode of “Supernatural” last season can be best described as a dud, there are still some other great installments coming up this season, including the return of Misha Collins’ Castiel to the modern day, the arrival of Amanda Tapping as a mysterious angel named Naomi, and also plenty more backstory involving Dean and the vampire Benny in purgatory. Considering the rise in the show’s ratings this year, which is likely in part due to the Wednesday time slot and having “Arrow” as a lead-in, the good news will likely continue for weeks to come.
What do you think about Day’s return?
