USA confirms ‘Suits’ season 2, ‘White Collar,’ ‘Necessary Roughness’ return dates
Want to know when some of your favorite USA shows are coming back with new episodes? Well, the wait over! The cable network announced in a press release on Wednesday some of their returning series, and it appears as though we are going to be in for a quite a month this January.
First, “Suits” is going to come back on Thursday, January 17 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, which is thankfully a time in which it will not have to square off against too much broadcast competition. While this show is a little bit more of a slow burn than most of the network’s other competition, it may end up being your favorite the more you watch of it. The writing is sharp, the acting is stellar, and it captures the essence of a complicated law firm perfectly.
Meanwhile, “White Collar” will be airing at the same time, but starting up on Tuesday, January 22. For those of you who love all things Matt Bomer, this is going to be the place to be. Meanwhile, “Necessary Roughness” and Callie Thorne will be returning to TV the very next day. USA has been very smart when it comes to trying to premiere these shows at a time when network TV is not typically that strong, and hopefully they can get viewers hooked on these shows again before the February sweeps really get up and running a number of weeks later. It also helps that these are all high-quality shows.
