As with every season of Ray Donovan at this point, one of the primary struggles is going to be fundamentally simple — the title character working in order to ensure that he has his head on straight while also fixing problems. It’s a simple premise, but one that does spin completely out of control.

The storyline for Bunchy is one that will prove to be fundamentally different. Think about things like this: Most of the Donovan family has been able to sort of tow the line and stay out of the limelight. That’s a big reason why Ray is able to do much of what he does. With this in mind, we have a feeling that whatever happens with Bunchy is going to have a ripple effect onto the rest of the family as a whole.
