Legacies season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Is a Landon love triangle happening?

Legacies season 2 episode 3 carries with it the title of “You Remind Me of Someone I Used to Know,” and we cannot help from thinking about that lone that it’s a reference to Hope. How can it not be? She’s spent the early part of this season separated from the world that she once knew, but we recognized that it was only a matter of time before she started to immerse herself once more.

THE SALVATORE SCHOOL VS MYSTIC FALLS HIGH – As the Salvatore School prepares for its annual football game against Mystic Falls High, the latest monster to arrive in Mystic Falls sets its eyes on one of the students. Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and Josie’s (Kaylee Bryant) relationship is put to the test when a player from the opposing team catches his eye. Elsewhere, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) enlists MG’s (Quincy Fouse) help learning more about Sebastian (guest star Thomas Doherty), and Alaric (Matthew Davis) goes head to head with Professor Vardemus (guest star Alexis Denisof). Danielle Rose Russell and Peyton Alex Smith also star. Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Brett Matthews & Adam Higgs (#203). Original airdate 10/24/2019.

So what do we take away from all of this? We wouldn’t be shocked that the player from the opposing team just so happens to be Hope — couldn’t she be playing on the team? We wouldn’t rule that out, but we also couldn’t rule out the idea of another love triangle-of-sorts forming either. These are the sort of things that Legacies does love to throw at you.

In the end, we do anticipate the writers building towards some revelations when it comes to Hope and people figuring out the truth. There’s no real merit in keeping that twist at bay for all of the season.
