SEAL Team season 3 episode 3 sneak peek: Why visit Azerbaijan?

SEAL Team

Coming up on SEAL Team season 3 episode 3 tomorrow night, we’re going to have a chance to see Bravo Team visit Azerbaijan … but why? Why go there for a mission when, on the surface, it looks like it’s all about a turf war between countries?

At the start of the sneak peek below, it’s clear that this is the question that members of Bravo Team are wanting an answer to. Yet, it turns out that there is a lot of strategy behind helping the country, as they are one of the most important allies that the team has in the entire Caspian Sea region. If something happens to them, it weakens all American influence in the area. It causes more problems in the future.

With that in mind, a big part of the focus within this episode is going to be on a power plant — one that is well-located and one that will be coveted by all sorts of groups battling with each other. What Bravo Team has to do here is work to ensure that nothing gets out of hand and that opponents of America don’t gain any ground. Consider this easier said than done.

In addition to seeing this conflict, we of course do remain interested in seeing how Bravo recovers from their mission in Serbia, plus the continued grind that all of them are currently facing. This is a part of the problem that can come, obviously, with doing this job for a long period of time — but at least some of them are in a better place for now than they were at the end of last season. We’ll just have to wait and see precisely how long that ends up lasting. Things almost always have a tendency to spiral with this show, and we’re just a tiny slice into the story at the moment.

In the end, we’d consider the new sneak peek to serve as a foundation — the rest of the structure will be coming in just over 24 hours’ time.
