Shark Tank preview: Squid Socks, Eterneva, Aira charger, Baobab polos
Before we get to sharing some more details on what’s coming, we suggest that you take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Episode 1104″ – Entrepreneurs from Austin, Texas, bring a unique solution to remembering passed loved ones by turning their ashes into diamonds. While entrepreneurs from New York City claim they have redesigned the best version of a men’s classic fashion staple. Entrepreneurs from San Diego, California, and Phoenix, Arizona, believe they have a game-changing innovation to wireless charging. And finally, a couple from Everett, Washington, claim to have finally solved the mystery of the missing baby sock on “Shark Tank,” SUNDAY, OCT. 13 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
Squid Socks – Think of this as a solution to a simple problem: Socks that don’t stay on infants! These are designed with rectifying that, and making it so that parents can focus on other things rather than spending long periods of time making adorable designs.
Aira – It goes without saying that there’s going to be a market for wireless charging devices. Every single person, at one point or another in life, ends up forgetting to charge their phone. Having a way to take things on the go with you is effective, especially something like this that works with a lot of different devices and can charge multiple devices at once.
Eterneva – The problem for what we would call the “afterlife industry” is that a lot of the time, it’s not something a consumer wants to actively think about. No one wants to imagine losing a loved one. Yet, there are many ways in which people may choose to remember a loved one, and Eterneva helps to let you create a diamond out of someone’s ashes. This is an emotional product in a lot of ways, and the challenge for the Sharks may just be discussing it from a business sense.
Baobab – They bill themselves as being responsible for “the perfect polo shirt,” but is there such a thing? Is anyone capable of producing such? They claim that they’ve got the right combination of comfort and sustainability, and they fall in life with a lot of environmentally-conscious brands. Yet, the price point at almost $90 for a polo is going to be too high for the majority of viewers.
