The Blacklist season 7 episode 3 spoilers: Reddington wants answers

Interested in where things could be going entering The Blacklist season 7 episode 3? Be prepared for a story entitled “Les Fleurs du Mal,” one that will definitely have a Blacklister component and a big Aram story! To go along with that, though, we’ve also got Reddington attempting to do whatever he can in order to fulfill one purpose: Trying to the best of his ability to get answers about the Townsend Directive.

Does this mean that Reddington wants to help Katarina? We don’t think it’s that simple. He recognizes so long as things are as they are at present, she’s not going away. She needs to find a way to undo what’s been done, and she’s willing to take some risks to make it happen. What’s interesting about this situation is that Katarina was able to anticipate what Reddington would and wouldn’t tell Liz, allowing her to be able to dive into her life.

Meanwhile, Red tries to negotiate with a former associate involved in the Townsend Directive, while Katarina Rostova (guest star Laila Robins) takes steps to insinuate herself into Liz’s life. What is Aram looking to get out of this mission? Odds are, this is a way for him to, one way or another, get answers that bring him closer to what the show is looking for.

There are some other things worth wondering about, as well. Take, for example, the status of Louis T. Steinhil and then also Frankie — previously know as Mila. Will they continue to be a part of the story in one way or another?
