Law & Order: SVU season 21 episode 4 spoilers: Peter Hermann returns!

Law & Order: SVU season 21 episode 4 carries with it the title of “The Burden of Our Choices” — which is quite a mouthful to say, but it may be rather meaningful when it comes to the story that the writers are trying to tell. Early indications suggest that this is going to be an important one for Rollins, and beyond that, we’ve also got a good sense already that it’s going to be a comprehensive one for many different characters!

It’s also going to be an episode that features the return of someone we’re always glad to see on the show in Peter Hermann. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve seen Trevor stop by on the show, and we’re curious to see how he’ll factor in. Any chance to get him working alongside his real-life spouse in Mariska Hargitay is, in our mind, a cause for celebration. Hopefully, this is also going to lead to some appearances down the road. (Hermann’s a pretty busy guy, given that he is a major cast member of Younger while also appearing occasionally on Blue Bloods and some other shows.)

This episode is going to be intense, as they often are at any point you are dealing with a teenage runaway and parents who may not always be altogether agreeable. The stage is set here for there to be a copious amount of drama, and a few twists and turns you could experience multiple steps of the way. Let’s just hope, in the end, for some compelling drama that continues to have us glued to the edge of our seat.
