Good Witch season 6 Halloween special: First spoilers on two-hour event!

Good Witch season 6 may not be premiering in earnest until we get around to 2020, but you will have a chance to see quite a lead-up special! On October 19, the special “Curse from a Rose” is going to air, and perhaps it will be the thing that gets you perfectly into the Halloween spirit. Over the course of this installment, you’ll see characters facing some huge life decisions.

“After successfully completing a complicated and tricky surgery, Sam has been offered a once-in-a-lifetime job across the country. Cassie wants what is best for Sam and for Grace. Will Sam accept the job offer just as a college-bound Grace also heads out of Middleton?”

For those of you who are longtime Good Witch viewers, the idea of them doing some sort of holiday special isn’t going to come as all that big of a surprise. How can it? This is an event that should follow up perfectly what they’ve done in the past, and it’s clear that they want you at least reasonably concerned over the idea that you could be seeing on some level Sam considering a faraway move. Do we think that it will actually happen? Let’s just say that we’re not altogether sure that it will for many different reasons. For starters, there’s just not that big of a reason story-wise for Hallmark Channel to make this move! Why would they want to? It would, effectively, be putting them in a situation where they’d be short yet another cast member so soon after losing Bailee Madison.

One way or another, this episode is going to give you many of the answers that you seek … and probably also offer a few teases as to what the future for Good Witch could look like. Just remember to be patient, since it may be some time before you have a chance to see this show work some more of its magic again.
