Chicago Med season 5 episode 4 crossover spoilers: ‘Infection, Part II’

What is the first thing worth noting about Chicago Med season 5 episode 4? Think in terms of the start time — 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. For this particular episode, you will see the medical drama air in between Chicago Fire and Chicago Med and there is one simple reason for it: It’s the crossover! This one is exciting and, beyond that, the stakes are going to be incredibly high. There’s a major threat that in the form of an infection, one that will spread quickly and run the risk of putting some of the major characters into quarantine.

Let’s go ahead and make one thing clear here — we’re very concerned at the moment over Will. Do we think that he will emerge okay? Sure, mostly because he’s proven himself already to be the sort of character who has nine lives and finds a way to somehow survive everything. Yet, it’s still easy to feel like he’s going to be facing something drastic here, and it could be something that sticks with him for a while.

Also, we should go ahead and make one thing clear — there’s a reasonably good chance that some other characters could be in danger. It may not be someone from Chicago Med, but it is very much still danger nonetheless. All of this story will bleed over to Chicago PD after the fact. There may not be another major crossover after the fact this season, but we’re sure that there will be more cross-pollination between worlds moving forward.
