God Friended Me season 2: Who is the Lady? Answers within!

Who is the Lady on God Friended Me? Given that season 2 episode 2 tonight was entitled “The Lady,” it was clear that this mysterious clue from the God Account was pivotal.

To go along with that, it’s also clear that the God Account wants Miles to travel a little bit … and make the show more international than ever! While it was a fir assumption to make that “follow The Lady” was just a reference to Joy, it was actually a reference to Paris’ own version of the Statue of Liberty. Now that Cara is overseas working with Simon Hayes, it now seems like Miles is going to be required to turn up as well. That’s important since it will be the setting for the next key part of the journey … and hopefully one where there will be some further clues revealed.

So what could a Statue of Liberty — or, a Lady Liberty — mean when it comes to clues as to the God Account’s identity? It’s possible it could reveal some sort of personal connection between the statue and whoever is running the account now. We do think that it matters who is running the account, but it’s possible that this is going to exist for a completely different reason … giving you more of an understanding as to why someone is running this account. After all, that’s not an easy thing to do!

Can you argue that the true identity of The Lady is very coincidental, given that the thing Miles needs to see just so happens to be where Cara is? Maybe so, but isn’t the story of God Friended Me very much about fate and location in some way? We like to think so, and it’s also possible that this is all the God Account working to ensure that Cara and Miles stay close. At this point, don’t they realize that they are stronger together?
