NCIS season 17 episode 3 extended promo: More Sloane awkwardness
There are parts of the 30-second promo below that you saw in the shorter version, which followed the episode “Into the Light” this past Tuesday. Yet, there are some new elements to it, as well, sure to make you smile ear to ear. Take, for example, watching Sloane put her head against the wall of the elevator after Torres tries to question her about some of her feelings. This was a funny moment, one of many that we’re sure that we’re going to see within this episode as she tries to either deny or confirm some of her feelings.

We know from last season that Sloane is very much curious as to whether or not Gibbs feels the same way about her — yet, we’re more than aware at this point that Gibbs is not the sort of person to open up about what he’s thinking/feeling at any given moment. It’s probably wrong to expect him to do a whole lot of that here, either. Nonetheless, Jack does approach him about something before the promo ends, and we’re just waiting to see whatever that response is going to be.
Do we expect “Slibbs” to become a canon part of NCIS within this episode? We’re probably asking too much for there to be some sort of enormous, epic relationship reveal. Yet, we’re also not going to pretend that it would be anything other than super-exciting if we were to see something like that explored. If nothing else, it would make Gibbs question his rules more. Sloane is a co-worker, though her relationship professionally to Gibbs is different than someone working under him as a part of his team.
