God Friended Me season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Is Cara back in America?

God Friended Me season 2 episode 4

As we entered God Friended Me season 2, we knew already that Cara Bloom would be in Paris for a certain period of time. Yet, at the same time it’s long been figured that she would find her way back to America. That was confirmed a little bit further in our recent interview with Violett Beane.

In the end, it is the upcoming October 20 episode entitled “All Those Yesterdays” that is going to have a chance to see Cara back in America. This is going to give us a good chance to see just how the character is adjusting to her new/old surroundings. It’s not going to be so easy as her jumping back into the world she was in and then thinking that everything is going to be A-Okay. There are going to be a lot of different issues that she could face, mostly because she’s not going to be anywhere near the same person she once was. That adds a lot of intrigue to the proceedings.

Below, CarterMatt has the full God Friended Me season 2 episode 4 synopsis with some more news when it comes to what’s next:

“All Those Yesterdays” – Miles, Cara and Rakesh support Joy (Jessica Lu) when The God Account sends her a friend suggestion that brings up painful memories for her. Also, Arthur is tempted by a professional opportunity, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Oct. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

So while this is an episode about Cara’s return to America, at the same time it could be about something so much more. It’s going to be a deeper exploration of Joy, someone who we’ve now met and seen in action a little bit. Her presence may be essential in determining, for better or worse, why the God Account is doing what they are. She’s someone who certainly has her demons, but in the past has a history of doing good. Shouldn’t this give us a little bit of insight into whatever they’ll be doing in the future? We like to think so.
