The Conners season 2 episode 3 preview: ‘The Preemie Monologues’
Within this upcoming episode, what you will be getting a chance to see is how Darlene deals with a wide array of different, constant issues in her personal life while Jackie does her best to take it upon herself to “help” others. In doing this, though, she could be causing even more problems for herself … that tends to be what happens when you ignore some of what’s in front of you.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official The Conners season 2 episode 3 synopsis with some more news all about what’s coming up:
“The Preemie Monologues” – Harris is forced to confront Darlene about her lifestyle, while Jackie involves herself in other people’s problems to avoid confronting her own. Meanwhile, Becky is overwhelmed by the costs of raising a baby, so her family steps in to help on “The Conners,” TUESDAY, OCT. 8 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
The Conners within this episode is going to keep working to try and find the humor in some of the little things in life — even if some of these said things constitute a struggle. Take, for example, money issues — there are a couple of different ways to look at it. You can either let these completely consume you, or after a while, you can just decide that there are some different paths to take in life and you’re better off just putting your focus on being positive. It’s the “enjoy the small things” route. As long as you are able to still be healthy and keep chugging along, a lot of the added stress doesn’t get you anywhere. It’s ironic in a way that a show featuring characters in stressful situations can help to de-stress viewers, but we think a lot of the comedy of The Conners comes from the “hey, we’ve all been there” that constitutes it.
