SEAL Team season 3 premiere sneak peek: How are Jason and Clay?
Let’s take, for example, Jason Hayes, which continues to be out in the field doing what he can to run operations. This is a guy who went through an emotional meat-grinder through season 2, losing Alana and then trying to figure out the best financial situation for his daughter. Now, he’s in Serbia trying to take down a bomber … while finding a little bit of personal fitness time somewhere in there. The sneak peek below shows him outside, trying to stay in shape while also having a conversation with Clay.
This brings us to the next order of business — Clay is back! After being out of commission for the span of the past few months, there is something rather nice that comes with being able to see him back out doing what he does so well. He’s still gotta get used to being out in the field, but there’s a sense of comfort that comes from him being there.

The two men may not always agree, but there is something so fascinating that comes from hearing the two of them talk about their job as a refuge. That brings you back to the very title for this first episode: “Welcome to the Refuge.” While war may be a terrible, it’s most of what these characters have ever known. They’re so used to being out there fighting the good fight that it feels strange for them to not being doing it. We wouldn’t say that there is a sense of comfort per se that comes from them doing this, but there is at least an overall sense of familiarity.
No matter what the struggle is in Serbia, don’t expect it to be resolved in the premiere; it’s going to take some time to make it to the end.
