A Million Little Things season 2 episode 2 preview: ‘Grand Canyon’ reveals

What’s coming up on A Million Little Things season 2 episode 2? Consider this to be the episode about the fallout. In the premiere tonight, Eddie is passing along some key information to Katherine. Meanwhile, we’re going to see Maggie make some key realizations about her life, PJ deciding to come clean, and also some big moves for Regina insofar as the business goes. There is a lot of big stuff coming up, and the title of “Grand Canyon” seems to suggest a lot. It could be talking about how there is a canyon-of-sorts between who characters are and who they want to be down the road.

Eddie manages to keep Theo distracted in the midst of trying to track down Katherine, while Maggie realizes her mother’s surprise move to Boston might not be just for her. Meanwhile, Regina struggles with accepting Andrew’s ideas about the restaurant, and PJ makes a shocking confession to Rome.

Do we think Eddie and Katherine are going to be separate from each other for all of the season? That’s hard to imagine. Yet, when they are back around each other they’ll need to have conversations … just as Maggie may need to have some conversations with her mother in regards to whatever it is that she wants out of her life. It’s still something that she is trying her best to figure it out now that she is in recovery — it’s a different set of parameters she is taking on now and clearly, it’s not something that she could anticipate. When you’re sick, it’s often best to just think in terms of one day at a time. Now, she has an opportunity.

For many of these characters, there are opportunities aplenty. It all comes down to what they choose to do with them and how they want to design their perfect endgame.
