The Blacklist season 7: How many episodes could Reddington be away?
When it comes to dramatic twists, there are a lot of questions that you understandably should wonder … including just how long the twist should last. You want it to have another gravity so that it matters. Reddington being captured by his former lover, someone who is extremely dangerous and has been on the run for years, is a pretty significant deal. We know that Katarina is dangerous, so much so that she is willing to do whatever she can in order to get answers out of Reddington.

Here is the other component to this story, though — Liz Keen is no ordinary person attached to the FBI. She is the sort of person who will stop at nothing to find Reddington and she’s going to have the support of the entire Task Force. They’ll search long and hard and have the assistance of Dembe at the same time.
So how long will it take Liz and the Task Force to find Reddington and get answers? Our feeling is that two hours is the ideal length of time — that’s enough time to make the twist matter. Yet, at the same exact time you want to get these characters back together, or maybe put Katarina in a position where she and Liz can meet. That’s the sort of thing that could get the ball rolling on something greater, another twist that could continue to keep you on your toes this season.
Based on everything we’re hearing at the moment, one thing feels clear: This could be the most intense batch of episodes for The Blacklist yet!
