Fuller House season 5: EP teases emotional episode ahead
Yet, what is equally important to note is that this is also a show that is going to do whatever it can to make you feel things. It’s obviously not out to make you cry at every possible second of the day, but it’s still trying to address real issues here and there. It was to be relatable to real families who are watching all over the world. These are people who experience pain, sorrow, grief, and a wide array of other emotions. The relatability of Fuller House is a part of why so many people love it. We also know already that this is a show that does have some sad moments — they are a part of what brought DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy under the same roof as adults in the first place.
In a new post on Twitter, show executive producer Bryan Behar teased that the latest new episode (filmed this past Friday) is one of the more emotional ones that’s been made for the show. In his words, it is a “moving episode about the intersection between grief, loss, and family.” Since this is a family sitcom that has young kids among its viewership, we imagine that the message will be relayed in a way that most young viewers can understand.
Of course, there are all sorts of things that you could speculate about when it comes to Fuller House and grief, but it almost feels like it’s better to experience rather than think too much in advance. The cast and crew are closing in on the end of the series, and while we don’t think that this episode will be the series finale by any means, it could be a story that helps to pave the way for it.
New episodes of Fuller House will premiere on Netflix, more than likely, close to the end of the year. Once there is more news to report on this subject, we’ll be sure to have it for you here.
