‘Gossip Girl’ season 6 spoilers: The latest Chuck-and-Blair scene

If you are enjoying this season of “Gossip Girl,” odds are that you are probably a fan of Chuck and Blair; and with this very thing in mind, you are probably going to enjoy the latest sneak peek that we have for Monday night’s new episode “Dirty Rotten Scandals.”

In this video, we have a scene that is important for the future of Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick’s characters, but at the same time it is far and away different than the one we saw to kick off the season. (Then again, is a little bit of “Chair” action better than none at all?) These two are still trying to get everything sorted out in their lives before getting together, and as frustrating as this may be to watch from the perspective of the viewer, it is definitely the right thing for the two parties to do from the perspective of someone who actually wants to see them make it in the long-term. After all, why rush into something when they has been one of the problems you have faced in the past?

While there have been some pretty major spoilers floating around the internet about another possible couple on the show, the producers have done a pretty great job of keeping the future of Chuck and Blair under wraps. We cannot imagine the show ending without the two getting together and staying that way, but whether this ends in a wedding for them is still to be seen. A perfect ending would of course mean happiness for every character involved, but this may not be realistic; but life without Chuck and Blair? Since it’s already clear that she and Dan are over, there’s really no other option.
