Chicago PD season 7 spoilers: Who is Darius Walker?
According to TVLine, Michael Beach (The 100, Sons of Anarchy) is going to recur on the upcoming season as a character who could be at the center of many storylines. Here’s some of how showrunner Rick Eid describes the character, per the aforementioned website:
“He’s a businessman, drug dealer and philanthropist, and he’s good at all of them, and he takes them all seriously … He’s a guy who uses his profits from his drug business to funnel back into urban communities and, literally, help innovative and ambitious young entrepreneurs.”
So is he almost a drug-dealing version of Robin Hood? He’s not so much a robber, but he’s taking his illegally-earned money in order to help others. His moral justification for his actions could prove interesting, and then also put Intelligence as a unit in a challenging spot. How will they be perceived in their efforts to take down someone perceived to be a great figure in the community? Are there going to be a lot of people who turn on them … if they hadn’t turned on them already? This should prove interesting.
There are several other issues that Intelligence is going to have to take on in the new season. Think along the lines of unraveling the death of Kelton from the season 6 finale, the circumstances leading to Antonio Dawson’s exit, and also how Paul Adelstein is now going to factor into the mix.

Check out the key art for the three One Chicago shows, via TVInsider, at the bottom of this article! It’s a little odd to see Colin Donnell and Norma Kuhling featured in the Chicago Med key art, given that we know those two actors are leaving. Seda, meanwhile, is already gone from the PD part of the art.
