‘Gossip Girl’ season 6 spoilers: Who’s Blair asking for a favor?

You know Blair has to be desperate when she calls someone eagerly looking for a favor; but once you realize just who it is that she is calling, it makes it even more apparent that he is really on her last hope.

In the sneak peek clip below from Monday night’s new “Gossip Girl” episode “Dirty Rotten Scandals,” Blair calls up none other than Serena in an effort to cash in a favor to make sure that her upcoming fashion show goes off without a hitch. After all, she seems to believe that she has earned the right to ask for such a thing for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Blair has been the sort of person who has been there for Serena day in and day out over the years. In addition to that, she feels as though she has really known her long enough for her to have the right to ask for her help, regardless of the fact that the two are not necessarily on the best terms at this very moment.

So is this really the way in which the real world works? Hardly, and we a perfect example of it courtesy of Serena’s response. Rather than agreeing to actually offer Blair a helping hand, she more or less laughs in her face by telling her that her new “family” consists in part of Sage, who she is trying to bond with more now that she knows the full extent of her involvement with Nate (not to mention that she is the daughter of her current boyfriend).
