‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: First photos for Meredith – Cristina episode

While the episode airing next week on “Grey’s Anatomy” is really going to be all about the men, the focus will shift back to the ladies in the one that follows; in particular, the two ladies that will be in the crosshairs are none other than two of our leads in Meredith and Cristina.

Sadly, we do not know too much about this episode just yet except that it will be titled “Beautiful Doom,” and it may be one of the most emotional productions that Shonda Rhimes has ever put on the screen. Judging from this photo of Meredith with her daughter Zola here, it certainly feels as though there is something deeply troubling Ellen Pompeo’s character, and she really does not know what to do about it.

In another one of the photos, it is Sara Ramirez who is holding the child; and with that, we have to ask the question as to whether or not she is going to be taking care of Zola for a while for some reason. After all, Meredith is also carrying a bag with her, and it could contain the toddler’s belongings while she looks to take care of some business elsewhere. Who knows? Maybe she is going out to the Mayo Clinic to pay her good friend a visit. Cristina is definitely going through some tough times of her own, as she struggles with being in a new environment while at the same time has to try and vanquish the ghost of Owen from her head (which is really proving not to be so easy).

Even if we don’t know much about the episode just yet, it’s easy to make one assumption based on these episodes: we could be remembering it for a while.
