The 100 season 6 episode 12 video: Clarke’s undercover mission
In the video that CarterMatt has for you below, executive producer Jason Rothenburg and co-executive producer Kim Shunway (who happened to write episode 12) take you through the key plot points of “Adjustment Protocol,” and episode that will do a delicate dance around the shields over at Sanctum. Bellamy and company are on the outside looking in, hoping that they are going to find their way inside. Meanwhile, Abby and Raven are in total survival mode and Clarke is working from the inside to find a way in order to get the shield down.
The Clarke part of the episode is the part that leaves us the most excited, mostly because Eliza Taylor is doing one of the coolest things that she has to date. We’ve seen her play Clarke this season, just as we have also seen her play Josephine. Now, we’re going to have a chance to see her, as Clarke, play Josephine. Still with us? She’s playing a character pretending to be another character and this should be a fun test of how good of an actor Clarke truly is. She’s going to be the one who has the power to alter the course of everything at Sanctum, but it’s going to be based on how believable she is and if she can infiltrate everywhere she needs to.
Expect some great espionage storytelling within this episode, but also a lot of patience from everyone else. They have to put some trust elsewhere, even if they’re not going to be getting a lot of progress reports every single step of the way. If they can do that, there’s a chance for safety and security after the finale.
Of course, we should also note that everything that happens in episode 12 should carry right over to the finale. The 100 ends their seasons big, and all of the early details out there suggest that something violent is coming right on the other side of the horizon.
