Jersey Shore Family Vacation video: Dueling bachelor parties

Jersey Shore Family Vacation filming

Coming up on tomorrow night’s Jersey Shore Family Vacationwe’re going to see bachelor parties — or, a debate over the right way to throw one.

Almost everything that you see in the sneak peek (CarterMatt has that for you to watch below) plays out almost like an episode of a sitcom. Mike’s bachelor party is coming up around the bend at the dude ranch and because of that, all of his roommates are doing what they can to make it special. The women seem to be keen on planning it, and they’re looking to make it into something fun. Think in terms of games, good humor, and a surprise appearance by Mike’s fiancee Lauren as opposed to hired dancers.

Well, let’s just say that Vinny and Pauly have a different perspective on what should be done. While out on the water, they decide that they want to honor “The Situation” just as much as they want to honor Mike. The old version of him from the early days of Jersey Shore would surround himself with women and party up a storm. They want to do something that harkens back somewhat to the earlier days of the show, and that includes bringing in some dancers to add a little “entertainment” to the mix.

What we’re expecting at this point is a situation where Lauren arrives right when there are a bunch of scantily-clad women dancing around Mike … and then things get awkward.

Side note: Pauly seems to have “a guy” who can bring dancers up to the dude ranch. Is Pauly becoming like Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother in terms of having “a guy” for everything? Feels that way.

We know that Mike and Lauren (or Laurens, as she’s starting to be called by everyone on the show) do end up getting married, so whatever happens within this episode isn’t so insane that it upsets the metaphorical apple cart completely. They’ll get through any awkwardness that is here … though we gotta say that personally, we’d much rather have Jenni and Snooki’s idea than what Vinny and Pauly are cooking up especially since our Bachelor party was such a disaster that it’s something we like to pretend never happened.
