SEAL Team season 3 spoilers: The latest new additions!
According to a new report from Deadline, the following actors are going to be making their presence felt in a recurring fashion throughout at least the first batch of upcoming episodes.
Jamie McShane – Following his time on The Passage earlier this year, Jamie will be playing Capt. Lindell. This character is a “hard-charging” individual, and more than likely the sort of person who will challenge and be at odds with some members of the team on occasion.
Rudy Dobrev – Meanwhile, the Days of Our Live actor is going to play a “tough but capable field agent” by the name of Flip, someone who works alongside Mandy (Jessica Pare) on intel reconnaissance. What does their relationship look like? That’s one of the main points of excitement on the upcoming batch of episodes.
With a show like SEAL Team, you never want to change the base structure of what the show is too much. This is a military drama, one themed strongly around these heroes out in the field and also some of the struggles that they have back home at the same time. What you have to do instead is trying to find a way to subtly shake up the formula and offer up a few different twists and turns along the way. That includes at times finding new allies and adversaries. Take, for example, Captain Lindell. We would say that, for now, he could be a thorn in the side of Bravo Team as he proves a different perspective on some assorted missions. That doesn’t mean, however, that he is an adversary. He is just someone who has his own take on how to get things done.
We imagine that there are more recurring players coming on this season, especially as Davis continues to find her new footing after OCS training and depending on wherever Clay lands following his recovery. We hope that he does end back up with Bravo, but we also understand that there are no guarantees.
