Good Trouble season 2 episode 5 promo: Mariana, Evan’s meeting
For more on this, all we would say to do is check out the promo below. In this, there is some speculation around the office over what is going on with Mariana and Evan, who are meeting up together. Some have taken notice that Evan seems to have a particular fondness for Mariana … but note that fondness does not equal romantic attraction. He may just find her appealing because she’s not like many of the other people he interacts with in his day-to-day life.
Regardless of however you want to label their relationship, the two of them being out is going to lead towards suggestions that Mariana is just trying to flirt her way to a higher position — and that’s when Raj takes action. This could be the moment that everything spills out about their relationship … and we know that this could lead to some big-time consequences.
Do we know that Evan asks Mariana about dating during their meeting? Sure, but that doesn’t mean that he is asking her out. Instead, he may just be looking for some dating advice and for someone to help him … and Mariana could be that person. This could be something innocent that turns into something else — and some of these toolboxes at the office should really be punished for spreading the sort of nonsense that they are.
For most of the series to date, Mariana’s work life has been somewhat of a ticking time bomb. We’ve been waiting and waiting for things to start to get a little bit crazy and now, we’re looking to be at the point in which they explode in a number of different directions. This could be chaos, and we just hope that you’re prepared for whatever the consequences are. It feels like they could stem beyond just this episode and the ones that follow it.
